Character: Norrin Radd was a peaceful astronomer who sacrificed his freedom to save his planet from Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds.
In exchange, he became Galactus’ herald and was transformed into the Silver Surfer. Eventually, Norrin rebelled, helping Earth, and Galactus punished him by exiling him to Earth, bound to his board.
